The name MAAGO carries a personal and emotional touch to us —it comes from my Ghanaian (Asante tribe) traditional name, Maame Birago, meaning “Mother of Determinants.” Inspired by my brother’s childhood pronunciation, MAAGO is a name that embodies warmth, legacy, and self-care.
